The Council serves the village of Wall together with the hamlets of Chesterfield and Hilton, and parts of Muckley Corner, Aldershaw and Pipe Hill. Wall is situated just south of the City of Lichfield in Staffordshire and sits alongside Watling Street, a former Roman road.

Lichfield District Council is inviting residents, businesses, and community groups to help shape the district’s priorities for the year ahead as part of its 2026–2027 budget consultation. Running until 22 December 2025, the consultation gives everyone the chance to share their views
Parking in all Lichfield District Council-managed car parks in Lichfield City Centre will be permanently free after 6.30pm every day, starting on Tuesday 25 November 2025.
